Award From METU to GTU

GTU faculty members who contribute to scientific researches with their studies are being considered for prestigious awards both national and international arena. Asst. Prof. Fabienne Dumoulin, a member of Chemistry Department, was awarded the Research Incentive Award for her work.

She was granted the Research Incentive Award which is one of the most prestigious awards of the world of science given by Middle East Technical University (METU) Prof. Mustafa N. Parlar Education and Research Foundation. She deserved this award because of her photodynamic therapy which is a very promising alternative cancer and antimicrobial treatment method, as well as her studies in chemistry of phthalocyanine.
