GTU and SoftTech Cooperation

GTU collaborated with SoftTech on production-training and signatures were signed. From R&D projects to student employment, it was decided to work together on many projects.

The signatures of Gebze Technical University (GTU) and SoftTech Software Technologies Research and Development and Marketing Trade Strategic Cooperation Agreement were signed with the signing ceremony held at the Senate Hall of GTU Rectorate. Rector of GTU Prof. Haluk Görgün, Vice Rector of GTU Hasan Aslan, SoftTech Software Technologies General Manager Melih Murat Ertem, GTU Computer Center President and Department of Computer Engineering Instructor Assoc. Mehmet Göktürk, General Manager of SoftTech Software Technologies Mehmet Ali Madendere, Darço Akkaranfil, Haluk İnanmış, Project Officer Hanife Oktay, R&D and Technocity Manager Ömer Gökçeli attended the signing ceremony. Under this agreement, it is envisaged that the R&D activities of SoftTech in the R&D Center in Tuzla, in the R&D Center in Kadıköy and other locations, which are planned to be opened, will be academically supported by the GTU. In this context, general provisions on collaborations aimed at cooperation between the parties were discussed in order to support practical application of the theoretical studies of academicians and students of the university. It also features a contractual content including strategic cooperation, consulting R&D projects, post-graduate training, lecturing at university, participating in university seminars, student employment.
