GTU Students Deliver Hope to Disadvantaged Students

GTU students provided basic stationary sets for the village schools in Siverek, Şanlıurfa, and established a library for a school. 

The charity project, which was started by GTU's Sustainable Development Society member students, provided basic stationary materials for about 500 students at the village schools in Siverek, Şanlıurfa in the southeastern part of Turkey. A library was also established at a school and books were donated. 5 months were spent on the project, which was supported by İnfak Association, Karlıova Municipality, Marmara Teknokent, Gebze Municipality, Avansas, and GTU's Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports. The project was conducted by Merve Bingöl, Havva Karakoç, Altun Tokan, Mezgin Aris, Ayşenur Toksöz, Muhammed Döner, Seray Yurtsever, and their team.
