Project Support to GTU from ASELSAN

The first round of applications of 2021-2022 Education and Teaching Year for "Tohum" Project Grants under ASELSAN Academy Program have been finalized, and 10 project proposals have been entitled to receive support. Within this scope, 3 graduate theses from GTU have earned the right to receive approximately 150,000 dollar grant in total.

With the ASELSAN Academy Program signed under the auspices of the Turkish Council of Higher Education (CoHE) between ASELSAN and 4 research universities, Gazi, GTU, ITU, and METU, students who are also ASELSAN employees have been receiving graduate education since 2017 in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering Programs. Turkey's next generation university model, ASELSAN Academy, has received the top prize in the "Outstanding Support Mechanism" category at the University-Industry Collaboration Conference held in the Netherlands.
