Proteins Produced from Microalgae at GTU

The Industrial Biotechnology Research Group at the Institute of Biotechnology at GTU have produced proteins from microalgae, which have high nutritional value, under one of their projects granted by TÜBİTAK. What makes the process even more special is the fact that it is the first time fermented microalgae have been used as raw material for protein production in Turkey.
