TÜBİTAK Grant to GTU Academic's Project To End Food Waste

The project titled "Antimicrobial, Antioxidant and Compostable Package Production from Food Waste" and coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Merve Mocan from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at GTU has been entitled for a grant from TÜBİTAK under TÜBİTAK's 3501 Career Development Program. 

The project, which will be conducted at GTU, will end food waste through food packaging that will be made out of natural raw materials while being used to increase soil efficiency as compost.
