Architectural Design of GTU's Aerospace Faculty Building Complete

Architectural design and projects of GTU's Aerospace Faculty, which will start undergraduate education at the Department of Aircraft Engineering as of Fall Semester 2021, have been completed. 

The faculty building and aircraft hangars have been designed according to the current needs determined by Prof. Dr. İlyas Kandemir, who is the Head of Department at the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, and his team.

Architectural design and application projects of the faculty's buildings have been carried out by Asst. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Türkeri from the Faculty of Architecture at GTU and Master Architect Gönül Karademir. 

The Aerospace Faculty at GTU had been established in June 2020 with the decision no. 2654 to produce qualified engineers for aviation and space sector, which requires high technology.
