GIT Strategic Plan

Gebze Institute of Technology (GIT) hold external stakeholder meeting constituted by Strategic Committee under the presidency of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Halit Keskin within the scope of new “Strategic Plan” works which include 2014-2018 years and quality participation. Headmasters who perform duty in various schools in Gebze, Darıca and Cayırova attended the meeting.

 

Gebze Institute of Technology (GIT) Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Halit Keskin expressed that they develop themselves constantly as a University and this meeting also was made in this context. Mr. Halit Keskin expressed in this way: “We invited you here in contemplation of presenting great contributions to our works and going on 2014-2018 Strategic Plan Works with participation of external stakeholder within this period.  We have great expectations from you. Each of us is working for our institutions success. GIT is one of the star universities in Turkey. Students who graduated from your schools and training centers are coming to us. You satisfy students and send to us. We cater for them to life as well. Our present meeting will be in this context. Your opinions are important for us”.

 

Afterwards, GIT Head of Departments of Information Technology Dr. Serhat ERAT made a presentation related to priorities, qualities and successes of Institute.


Lastly, member of Strategic Committee Prof. Dr. Lütfihak ALPKAN gave information about new strategic plan which will create, he wanted from headmasters who are external stakeholder to evaluate powerful and weak aspects of Institute, threats and opportunities. Besides, he expressed that responses which were taken will important contribution to constitute creating Strategic Plan of 2014-2018, he wanted to participants to state important strategic purposes and expectations for Institute also. Meeting ended with question and answer part.
