OUR INDUSTRIAL DESIGN DEPARTMENT ACADEMICS WIN 1st AND 2nd PRIZE IN BURSA INTERNATIONAL SOUVENIR DESIGN COMPETITION!

Gebze Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Industrial Design Department Academics; Assisstant Professor Dr.  Ceyda Özgen, Lecturer Ayşe Dalyanoğlu, Lecturer Nehir Taştan, Research Assistant Ece Cinar and Research Assistant Begüm Türeyengil was awarded the 1st and 2nd prizes among 727 projects participating in the Bursa International Souvenir Design Competition!

In the "Bursa International Souvenir Design Competition" organized by Bursa Culture, Tourism and Promotion Union and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality to design and produce souvenirs that represent Bursa in an institutional sense, our academics will bring the historical, cultural and symbolic values ​​of Bursa for the Souvenir Product Design Category. They designed souvenirs that will pass on to generations.

At the award ceremony held at Bursa Muradiye Qur'an and Manuscripts Museum on 04 December 2022, the jewelry design named "Silhouette" was awarded the 1st Prize, and the product design "Nicaea Puzzle" was awarded the 2nd Prize.
