Disaster response of GTU Department of Civil Engineering for Kahramanmaras earthquakes

Disaster response of Gebze Technical University team (Department of Civil Engineering) in collaboration with University of Tabriz, and Tokyo Institute of Technology for Kahramanmaras earthquakes (6th Feb. 2023):

The damage proxy maps for Kahramanmaras earthquakes were generated. Initial damage map of the settlements in Turkey and Syria after M 7.8 and M 7.5 quakes immediately were sent to the local search and rescue teams in the affected areas by Sentinel Asia. Red pixels indicate high damage possibility, yellow pixels indicate medium damage and white pixels represent negligible damage. Now you can also check out the maps on the website of Sentinel Asia.
