WORKSHOPS
1- **Augmented Campus**
This workshop will be a practice-based design workshop that explores the creative use of distributed digital technologies, the Internet of Things, Big Data, information visualization, etc. The aim is to examine how these technologies can digitally enhance the university campus and make the student experience of this environment more engaging. The workshop targets a group of postgraduate students interested in the potential of the ‘augmented campus’ concept. Participants will research, develop, and design a proposal for a site-specific application aimed at enhancing the experience of staff, students, and visitors to the Taskisla Campus and its surroundings.
2- **"Design for Medical Technologies"**
This workshop focuses on concept design and ergonomics for medical products.
3- **Workshop on Small Object Design with Polymer Composites**
Held in collaboration with the Design Department and Tila Kompozit A.S., this workshop focuses on product design and manufacturing using composite polymers.
4- **MX Creative Industries Workshop**
Organized under the auspices of Marmara University's Innovation and Technology Transfer Research Center, this workshop aims to bring together the academic and professional worlds to explore the impact of artificial intelligence on creative industries. Participants will evaluate AI's potential in this field from the perspectives of 'Opportunity' and 'Threat.'
5- **Turkey Design Vision 2030 Workshop**
The Turkey Design Vision 2030 Workshop is a platform aimed at enhancing Turkey's influence at both local and global levels by developing national design strategies. The workshop seeks to raise innovation capacity through the integration of technology and design, establish sustainable design policies, and adapt to future design trends.
