What is the UniBounty Program?
Bug bounty programs are special or open programs where independent security researchers participate to identify vulnerabilities (security weaknesses) in organizations' products and improve their security levels. Security researchers can report the vulnerabilities/exploits they identify within this program and earn rewards. A "bug" refers to a finding that occurs when the expected and actual results of software development differ, found by the testing team in a test environment. A "defect" is a similar finding, but it is identified by the end-user in a live (production) environment. Improving existing features of the application or suggesting new features contributes to the product's development in terms of Quality/Experience. With the UniBounty program, which is aimed at associate, undergraduate, and graduate students, you can learn about bug bounty, experience a bug bounty program, and earn rewards by finding vulnerabilities and exploits!
