The steps students should follow during the internship application process are as follows: On the Dean's Office Internship page, click on the "Internship Form" and fill out the resulting form. Attach the signed Internship Placement Acceptance Letter, Eligibility Certificate (if insurance is covered by the company, use form number 0753 instead of the Eligibility Certificate), and Curriculum Status Form to this form and submit the application for approval. None of the documents used in the internship application need to be delivered to the Dean's Office or Department in person. The only exception is form number 0753. Form number 0753 must be delivered in person to the Dean's Office (Materials Engineering Building, 2nd Floor, Room 217) with a wet signature no later than 2 business days after completing the internship form. Applications will not be approved by the Dean's Office Internship Coordinator unless form number 0753 is delivered in person to the Dean's Office. Since the first unit in the application process is the Dean's Office Internship Coordinator, the process will not begin in this case. Internship Obligation Certificate The Internship Obligation Certificate requested with the internship declaration request form is not among the documents required for internship applications. It is only required if the institution where the internship will be conducted requests such a document to sign the internship acceptance letter. It is sufficient to fill out and sign the FR-0078 Internship Declaration Request Form from the forms section on the Dean's Office Internship page and then send this signed form to "mfstaj@gtu.edu.tr". The Internship Obligation Certificate, which will be electronically signed by the Vice Dean, will be sent to the applicant via the same email within two business days at the latest. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Graduation students; When submitting their internship report, they must include a petition stating that they will graduate upon receiving their internship grade, requesting priority evaluation of their report, and attaching a curriculum status document showing their graduation status as proof. Students who have completed their internships must submit the aforementioned documents to the Department Secretariat in person, with a signature confirmation, no later than the end of the first week of the academic semester following the internship (or within one week of the end of the internship for internships completed during the semester).
