Double Major Programme: Undergraduate students of the Department of Geomatics, the Double Major Programme is carried out based on the provisions of the Directive. The purpose of the double major programme is to enable students who have completed their major undergraduate programme to study for a bachelor's degree in a second major (double major) simultaneously. Students can apply to the announced double major programme at the beginning of the 3rd or 5th semester of their major undergraduate programme. The student must have completed all credit courses required in the major undergraduate programme until the semester of application. The student must have a GPA of at least 3.00 at the time of application. The student must be in the top twenty percent of the success ranking in the relevant class of the major diploma programme. Students whose GPA in the major diploma programme is 3.00 out of 4.00, but who are not in the top 20% of the relevant class of the major diploma programme in terms of success ranking, and who have a score not less than the base score of the double major programme in the relevant year can also apply to the double major programme.

Minor Programme:. The purpose of the minor programme is to enable students who have completed their major undergraduate programme with outstanding success to gain knowledge in another discipline they are interested in. Applications are made based on the provisions of the Minor Programme Directive. Applications for the minor programme are made to the department heads who notify the minor quota with the application form and transcript within the periods specified in the Academic Calendar. The admission process is completed with the decision of the board of directors of the faculty to which the applied department is affiliated. Students whose applications for the minor programme are accepted are announced two weeks before the registration with their substitutes and register during the registration week. The student whose application for the minor programme is accepted must take and pass the courses determined by the senate decision within the scope of the minor programme. These courses are decided between the relevant departments and submitted to the approval of the relevant faculty boards and the university senate.
