Legislation Committee

 

It was established by the decision of our University Senate dated 11.07.2018 and numbered 2018/08, pursuant to Article 14/b of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.

 

Duties of the Commission:

(1) Within the scope of legislative activities, the Commission carries out the following activities on behalf of the Senate:

 a) To propose regulations, directives and other legislation in the areas of need,

b) To update and revise the existing legislation adopted by the University, ensuring its compliance with current legislation and its internal consistency

c) To review drafts of regulations, directives, and other legislation submitted by relevant boards/units.

ç) To check the compliance of proposed amendments to legislation submitted by relevant boards/units, and to make necessary corrections.
