Legislation Committee

 

Based on Article 14/b of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, it was established with the decision of the Senate of our University dated 11.07.2018 and session number 2018/08.

 

Duties of the Commission:

(1) The Commission carries out the following activities on behalf of the Senate within the scope of legislation studies:

a) To propose regulations, directives and other legislation in the areas of need,

b) To renew and review the legislation adopted for the University and to ensure that it complies with the legislation in force and harmonizes with each other.

c) To examine the draft regulations, directives and other legislation received from the relevant boards/units. ç) To check the compliance of the legislative amendment requests received from the relevant boards/units with the legislation and to make the necessary corrections.
