24th, 42nd and 65th articles of the Law No. 2547 and the Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive of the Council of Higher Education, which entered into force with the decision of the General Assembly of the Council of Higher Education dated 10.11.2016 and numbered 2016.23.497.
MISSIONS 1 - To examine allegations of ethical violations; to obtain expert or expert opinion when necessary through the Rectorate within the scope of the examination, to make correspondence with the relevant persons and institutions, to request information and to take other necessary actions within the scope of the examination, 2 - To submit the decisions taken as a result of the examination to the rector, 3 - To make proposals to the rector to ensure that educational activities are organised in cooperation with the relevant units or institutions and organisations in order to eliminate possible unethical actions in academic, research and publication ethics, 4 - To determine the methods of application of ethical principles and rules, 5 - When faced with an ethical problem that is not regulated in national and international texts, to link it to a principle or rule, 6 - To give opinions upon request about the dilemmas and problems encountered by individuals and units regarding ethical principles and standards in their work, decisions and practices, 7 - To evaluate the appropriateness of the application of new methods and technologies in terms of ethical principles and standards, 8 - To establish sub-committees when necessary,
To carry out the following activities related to scientific ethics and publication ethics, 1 - To develop policies to prevent violations of the principles of scientific ethics, 2 - To determine the principles that will ensure that the researches partially or fully supported or conducted by the University are carried out in accordance with ethics, 3 - To determine the principles of publication ethics for university scientific journals, 4 - To carry out activities to spread the culture and awareness of scientific research and publication ethics at the university, 5 - To organise educational activities on issues related to scientific ethics and publication ethics and to cooperate with other institutions and organisations within this framework when necessary.
