The purpose of this commission is to serve as the responsible university body for matters related to the regulation, supervision, and appeal processes concerning the implementation of the Academic Incentive Allowance for academic staff employed at public higher education institutions, within the scope of the Academic Incentive Allowance Regulation. It was established by the decision of the Gebze Technical University Senate dated 11 July 2018 and numbered 2018/08, based on the Academic Incentive Allowance Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 14 May 2018.

Academic incentive applications will be carried out through the Academic Incentive Management System. Using this system, you can retrieve your academic activities from YÖKSİS within the announced timeline, associate them with the necessary documents, and submit them for the approval of the departmental commission to initiate the process.
