Academic Incentives Regulation, Supervision and Objections Committee

 

The purpose of this commission is to serve as the responsible university body for matters related to the regulation, supervision, and appeal processes concerning the implementation of the Academic Incentive Allowance for academic staff employed at public higher education institutions, within the scope of the Academic Incentive Allowance Regulation. It was established by the decision of the Gebze Technical University Senate dated 11 July 2018 and numbered 2018/08, based on the Academic Incentive Allowance Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 14 May 2018.

2025 ACADEMIC INCENTIVE ALLOWANCE APPLICATION AND EVALUATION CALENDAR  

04.01.2025 - 16.01.2025  

Academic staff members are required to prepare their academic incentive documents and upload them to the ATYS online application system (https://akademiktesvik.gtu.edu.tr/) to complete their online applications. Subsequently, they must submit the Academic Incentive YÖKSİS Application Form and the Academic Incentive Allowance Declaration Form (FR-0551), duly signed (wet signature), to the chairmanship of their respective department/major department where their academic position is affiliated.

17.01.2025 - 20.01.2025

The documents submitted shall be reviewed through the ATYS system by the Unit Academic Incentive Application and Review Commissions (Preliminary Review Commission). The results shall then be forwarded via the system to the Academic Incentive Regulation, Audit, and Objection Commission (Academic Incentive Commission), and the minutes form, duly signed (wet signature), shall be submitted to the Academic Incentive Commission.

22.01.2025 - 25.01.2025  

The Academic Incentive Commission shall review the preliminary evaluation board's decisions through the ATYS system and render the final decision accordingly.

27.01.2025  

The decisions of the Academic Incentive Commission shall be announced on the GTU website and the ATYS website in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Individual results and any related explanations will be accessible to each applicant personally through the ATYS application system.

27.01.2025 - 31.01.2025 

Objections to the decisions of the Academic Incentive Commission shall be submitted via the ATYS online application system and in hard copy with a wet signature.

03.02.2025 - 06.02.2025  

Objections shall be reviewed and finalized by the Academic Incentive Commission, and the final results shall be announced and forwarded to the relevant units for payment processing.

 

 

Academic incentive applications will be carried out through the Academic Incentive Management System.

Using this system, you can retrieve your academic activities from YÖKSİS within the announced timeline, associate them with the necessary documents, and submit them for the approval of the departmental commission to initiate the process.
