Our department, which was established in 1994 in Gebze, one of the most industrialised regions of the Marmara region, continues its education and research activities in Muallimköy Campus between 2001-2013 and in Çayırova Campus since 2013 with a large academic staff. In our department, which has been providing master's degree education since its establishment, our doctoral programme started in 2003 and our undergraduate programme started in 2016.
It continues its education and research activities in a fully equipped, modern department building with an academic staff of 48 people. In this highly specialised institution, which provides undergraduate, graduate and doctoral education in the field of Environmental Engineering, comprehensive and advanced research and development activities are carried out on environmental pollution and control issues, and innovative and sustainable solutions are produced for local and global environmental problems.
