Our university, which was established in 1992 as one of the two high-tech institutes of our country and continues its journey as Gebze Technical University since 2015, has high technology and research in its genes. Graduate education, which has been based on many years in the fields of Science and Social Sciences and Architecture and has proven its reputation, has become much stronger with the interdisciplinary institutes opened within our university and providing graduate education.

As GTU Graduate Education Institute, we determine and carry out our processes in the fields of Science and Mathematics, Engineering, Social Sciences, Architecture and interdisciplinary Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Earth and Marine Sciences, Transportation Technologies, Energy Technologies, Defense Technologies and Information Technologies in 26 Departments, contributing to the execution of 50 Master's and 24 Doctoral Programs with high standards in one integrity and to the training of students studying in these programs as experts in their fields at international standards.

Our university has a very special position for the development of university-industry cooperation in terms of its young and dynamic academic staff and infrastructure and its geographical location, and makes agreements with research centers and industrial institutions in its ecosystem and carries out joint projects. As an institute, we offer our students the opportunity to conduct research on current issues in international standards by opening new programs suitable for scientific and technological developments in the world while keeping the existing programs up to date.

Artificial Intelligence Master's Program, which is opened under the Department of Computer Engineering, is accepted mainly students from non-field disciplines, and the use of artificial intelligence in research is encouraged by opening the way for our students to be appointed consultants from different programs within our institute.

At GTU, which is one of the top 10 research universities of our country, many national and international projects are carried out and our graduate students can take part in these projects. In our programs, many studies are carried out with university industry partners that will find a direct response in industry and technology, and our students can specialize not only with theoretical knowledge, but also with the skills and equipment for professional life.
