GTU Participated in EURIE 2025 Exhibition and Organised Meetings for International Collaborations

Gebze Technical University (GTU) participated in the EURIE Fair held in Istanbul on 9 April 2025. At the fair, together with the representatives of GTU International Relations Office and our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Damla Arısan, we met with different universities and held productive meetings on potential collaborations in the field of international education.

EURIE Fair was an important platform for the development of international co-operations where important stakeholders from universities, academic institutions and the education sector came together. GTU aimed to strengthen its existing international relations and establish new partnerships at this event. During the meetings with the participating universities, topics such as research projects, student exchange programmes and joint academic events came to the fore.

In addition, during these meetings, it was agreed that ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MOU) agreements should be made with the universities in order to shape future co-operation. An MOU is an official document signed between two institutions to establish a specific framework of cooperation or agreement, and is seen as an important step to strengthen GTU's international collaborations.

The steps taken by GTU to expand its international network at this important fair reflect the university's vision in global education.
