GTU International Exchange Programmes Office carries out student and staff exchange programmes within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme implemented by the EU Commission.

After 2022, Farabi* and Mevlana** programmes implemented by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) were discontinued, so there are currently no activities in these programmes.

*Farabi Exchange Programme is a student and faculty exchange programme between universities and institutes of higher technology in Turkey that provide education at associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral level.

**Mevlana Exchange Programme is a programme that enables the exchange of students and academic staff between higher education institutions in Turkey and higher education institutions abroad. Unlike other exchange programmes, mobility within the exchange programme covers higher education institutions all over the world without any geographical distinction.
