GTU NEW GUEST HOUSE The new guest house of our university, located on Block 4, Parcel 52, and serving our students, academic and administrative staff, as well as guests, is currently in operation. In accordance with the “Implementation Regulation of Medical, Social, Health, Culture, and Sports Affairs Directorates of Higher Education Institutions” and Article 47 of the “Higher Education Law No. 2547,” and taking into account the suitability of the revenue item, the facility was transferred to the Health, Culture, and Sports Directorate with the Rector’s approval dated August 31, 2018, and numbered 16342, and subsequently opened for service.
Gebze Technical University’s new guest house offers accommodation for up to 35 people at a time, with a total of 14 rooms. Nine of these rooms have double beds, three are shared rooms for two people, two are shared dormitory-style rooms with bunk beds accommodating eight people each, and there are also two suite rooms. All rooms are furnished with ergonomic beds, wardrobes, desks, mini refrigerators, televisions, kettles, air conditioners, and hair dryers, providing guests with an ideal level of comfort. In addition, the building includes a cafeteria area that can be used for social activities such as watching TV, dining, and studying.

Guest House Prices: The rate of 2% specified in the Official Notice on the Implementation of the Accommodation Tax dated December 14, 2022, and numbered 32064 is not included in the prices.
SERVICES OFFERED BY THE BEACH ACCOMMODATION FACILITIESOpportunities are provided for GTU students and students from international exchange programs to support their development in accommodation, social, and cultural areas. Accommodation needs of participants invited to scientific, cultural, and social events organized at Gebze Technical University are also met within the available facilities. The Student House and Student Cultural Center, established pursuant to Articles 46 and 47 of Law No. 2547, were opened for service with the Senate Decision of the Rectorate dated September 15, 2010 (Session No. 2010/22).
The Cultural Center Guest House is located 400 meters from the GTU campus, situated on the coast. Owing to its location, it offers an excellent natural environment far from the overwhelming noise of the city and traffic, surrounded by pine trees and greenery. Guests can wake up to the sound of birds and start the day with the soothing sound of waves. As a place that promotes healthy living, the Cultural Center Guest House adds vibrancy to campus life.
Effective as of June 27, 2024, the operation of the Guest House, Pool, and Restaurant services of the Coastal Facilities by the Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports was approved by the University Executive Board Decision dated June 27, 2024 (No. 2024/17-15), within the scope of the Regulation on Public Social Facilities.

PRESCHOOL / KINDERGARTEN SERVICESAt Gebze Technical University, children of university staff and, where possible, other children aged 3 to 6 are provided with services to support their physical, linguistic, cognitive, emotional, and social development, to help them acquire self-care skills, and to prepare them for formal education. These services are provided by a contractor company selected through a public tender process. In accordance with Article 2 of the Regulation Amending the Regulation on Preschool Education and Primary Education Institutions of the Ministry of National Education, published in the Official Gazette No. 30827 dated July 10, 2019,
a) Preschool: A school established for the education of children aged 36–68 months as of the end of September. b) Kindergarten: A class established within formal education and lifelong learning institutions for the education of children aged 57–68 months as of the end of September.
Within the scope of the provisions stated above, our university continues to provide preschool/kindergarten services in compliance with the relevant clauses. Registration procedures for those wishing to benefit from these services are carried out by the authorized contractor company.

BOUTIQUE SERVICES GTU YOUNG BOUTIQUE This initiative was launched in collaboration with Gebze Technical University and the Turkish Red Crescent (Merter Branch) to meet the clothing needs of university students. Our university provides undergraduate students with summer and winter clothing twice a year.
Starting in January 2022, the GTU Young Boutique area will operate in the office space provided “Next to the Staff Cafeteria”; all operations and activities will be carried out entirely by the Red Crescent, outside the authority and responsibility of our Presidency. Product distributions will be announced to all stakeholders via email once the distribution dates are communicated to our Presidency by the Turkish Red Crescent.
MERTER BRANCH UNIBOUTIQUE PROJECT Since its establishment in 1868, the Turkish Red Crescent has undertaken important tasks such as ensuring social solidarity, contributing to the development of social welfare, and providing shelter, food, and health assistance to poor and needy people. It has also been a pioneer in many areas and provides services in the fields of blood donation, disaster response, health, social assistance, youth, and education. The Turkish Red Crescent stands by those in need not only during disasters but at all times, and it does not leave university students behind either. The ‘UniButik’ stores, launched by the Turkish Red Crescent Merter Branch, support the clothing needs of university students, from shoes to socks, shirts to coats, with donations from the country's leading brands.

GTU KELEBEK RESTAURANT AND CANTEEN SERVICES There are a total of seven cafeterias (canteens) on our university campus, serving both students and staff. These include the Main Cafeteria and Restaurant located in the Department of Foreign Languages Building and Garden Area, as well as cafeterias in the Faculty of Business Administration Building, the Continuing Education Center, the Department of Computer Engineering Building, the Library and Documentation Directorate Building, and the Department of Electronics Engineering Building.
