The mission of our unit is to assess the current state of disaster preparedness and resilience across the university’s campus buildings and open areas in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes, building fires, and wildfires. This includes evaluating early warning systems, emergency evacuation procedures, and the dispatch of response teams during and after disasters. The unit also aims to identify deficiencies and propose necessary improvements; to formulate emergency and disaster preparedness strategies, and to offer recommendations regarding structural, administrative, and logistical organization plans.
