GTU’s Performance Improvement Plans have been prepared in line with the basis and procedures specified in the Regulation on the Performance Improvement Plans to be Prepared by Public Agencies and Performance Improvement Plan Preparation Guide, published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Turkey, dated 05 July 2008 and numbered 26927.
After the name of our institution was changed from Gebze Institute of Technology to Gebze Technical University, two faculties and one institute were closed, one new faculty and Institutes of Natural and Applied Sciences, Information Technology, Energy Technologies, Biotechnology, Earth and Marine Sciences, Transportation Technologies, and Defense Technologies were opened. Due to this change that regulates the duties, authority, and responsibilities of GTU, the need to renew the Strategic Plan for 2014-2018 arose. For this reason, Performance Improvement Plans for 2015 and 2016 were not prepared.
