AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTORATE OF PRESS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

 

1. Event Announcements
To disseminate information within the institution and to the press by publishing all university-organized events (such as conferences, panels, symposiums, congresses, ceremonies, meetings, banquets, seminars, festivals, concerts, and receptions) on the official website upon request.

 

2. Announcements and Invitations
To announce university events—such as opening and graduation ceremonies, conferences, panels, seminars, symposiums, meetings, concerts, and festivals—to relevant stakeholders through invitations, posters, online platforms, and other means of communication.

 

3. Press Coordination
To coordinate the university’s relations with the press, organize press conferences, and provide support to internal units on matters related to media engagement when necessary.

 

4. Protocol and Guest Hospitality
To organize the flow of official programs hosted by the Rectorate; plan protocol services, guest reception and hospitality arrangements, and related reservations; and ensure the accuracy and currency of protocol lists and contact information.

 

5. Media Monitoring and Reporting
To monitor local, national, and international print, audio, visual, and digital media; to process and archive collected data; and to present relevant information to university administrators.

 

6. Press Communication
To maintain effective and continuous communication with media organizations.

 

7. News Dissemination
To ensure that news related to the university is effectively featured in the media.

 

8. News Preparation
To convert incoming information into news format and ensure its publication, or to carry out the necessary procedures to facilitate publication.

 

9. Website Maintenance
To monitor the updates of the university’s and its affiliated units’ websites and notify the relevant departments when updates are needed.

 

10. Social Media Management
To manage and update the institution’s social media accounts; conduct interaction and follower analyses; and report the findings to the relevant departments.

 

11. Preparation of Promotional Materials
To design and produce all types of promotional materials for the promotion of the university.

 

12. Fairs and Events
To establish the necessary connections and organize the university's participation in fairs and similar events.

 

13. Organization of Promotional Activities
To organize promotional events such as exhibitions, excursions, fairs, meetings, open days, and career fairs for the purpose of promoting the university.

 

14. Email Announcements
To organize institutional email announcements regarding matters such as bereavements, blood donation campaigns, and other relevant communications.
