"SCIENCE EVERYWHERE"CALL FOR ENTRIES: GEBZE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY'S NATIONAL JURIED ONLINE GROUP PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITIONCan light passing through a camera lens make the complex world of science visible? The Science Communication Office within the Office of Press and Public Relations at Gebze Technical University is launching an interdisciplinary project that seeks to answer this question by exploring the relationship between scientific observation and artistic perspective: the "Science Everywhere" National Juried Online Group Photography Exhibition.
We need your perspective to reveal the hidden aesthetics of science by bringing it beyond the walls of laboratories.
Exhibition Theme and PurposeThe "Science Everywhere" exhibition aims to build new connections between science and art. We invite submissions that support science communication and reflect the excitement, wonder, and inspiration that science creates in everyday life beyond academic settings. Join this collective exhibition with photographs that capture people's interaction with science, scientific research processes, research culture, and the excitement of discovery.
Eligibility and Things To Note• Participant Eligibility: The exhibition is open to all citizens of the Republic of Türkiye who are 18 years of age or older. • Participation Fee: Participation is free of charge. • Number of Entries: Each participant may submit a maximum of two photographs. Following the jury's evaluation, a maximum of one photograph per participant may be selected for exhibition. • Originality: Submitted works must not have previously received an award or been exhibited. • Technical Specifications: Images should preferably be submitted at 300 DPI, with a minimum long edge of 3,000 pixels, using the RGB color profile. Accepted file formats are JPEG and TIFF, with a maximum file size of 20 MB. • Image Ethics and Artificial Intelligence: AI-generated images, excessive digital manipulation, and collages will not be accepted.
Exhibition Guidelines and Application ProcessAll participants are required to carefully read the exhibition guidelines before submitting their work. The guidelines contain detailed information on the competition rules, technical requirements, and evaluation criteria.

Important Dates• Application Deadline: September 7, 2026 (Monday) • Jury Evaluation Period: September 7–20, 2026 • Online Exhibition Opening: The date will be announced at a later time.
