Applications are invited from undergraduate and graduate students for scholarship positions within the TÜBİTAK 3501 research project entitled "Smooth Cubic Surfaces over a Non-Algebraically Closed Field." Required Qualifications Good programming skills in C++ Basic knowledge of Discrete Mathematics Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Interest in mathematics, algorithms, and scientific research Ability to work effectively both independently and within a research team Preferred Qualifications Background in algebra, geometry, combinatorics, or related mathematical areas Experience with computational mathematics and algorithm development Interest in scientific computing and mathematical software Application Process Interested students should send their CV and a brief statement of interest to: fkaraoglu@gtu.edu.tr Selection Interview Applicants will be interviewed in Associate Prof. Dr. Fatma Karaoğlu's office (Mathematics Department Z51) on June 2, 2026, between 13:00 and 16:00.
