The Gebze Technical University National Technology Workshop, established under the National Technology Workshops Project Support led by TÜBİTAK, has officially opened for student use and can be accessed through an online reservation form.
National Technology Workshops aim to foster a culture of production among young people across Türkiye and provide qualified environments where they can transform their ideas into tangible products. They represent a key example of university–TÜBİTAK collaboration, with operations having commenced in Bursa.
The GTU National Technology Workshop offers a comprehensive infrastructure, including prototyping equipment, electronics and mechanical development areas, consumable support, as well as educational and mentoring opportunities. The workshop enables students to design, develop, and test their projects while enhancing their technical skills and supporting preparation for technology competitions.
Students can schedule their use of the workshop via the online reservation form.
