As Gebze Technical University, we are pleased to be the academic partner of the Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF25), organized by the Marmara Municipalities Union under the motto “Cities Developing Solutions”.
To support collaboration in organizing, promoting, and carrying out activities after the event, five distinguished faculty members from GTU’s Department of Architecture, and Department of City and Regional Planning under the Faculty of Architecture have been assigned: Assoc. Prof. Melis Oğuz-Çevik, Assoc. Prof. Özlem Özer, Asst. Prof. Funda Tan-Bayram, Asst. Prof. Ayşegül Aktürk, and Res. Asst. Nermin Eda Tekmanlı.
MARUF25, which brings forward the search for solutions and collaboration regarding the future of cities, will be held on October 1–3, 2025, at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul. Within the scope of the Forum, various activities such as sessions, workshops, city routes, exhibitions, bazaars, and stands will be open and free of charge for participants.
