ADDITIONAL (SECOND ROUND OF) GRADUATE APPLICATIONS FOR 2025-2026 FALL SEMESTER

Application Calendar

 General Application Requirements

• Applicants must complete their applications by following all the steps outlined in the "Başvuru Formunun Doldurulmasına İlişkin Açıklamalar" (Instructions for Filling Out the Application Form) section.
 

• A maximum of two different programs may be applied to in the same semester for thesis master’s programs.
 

• For non-thesis master’s programs, only one application is allowed. If an applicant selects two programs, only the first choice will be considered and the second will be automatically cancelled by the system.
 

• Each applicant may apply to only one doctoral program.
 

• Except for non-thesis master’s programs, it is not permitted to be enrolled in or attend more than one graduate program simultaneously.
 

• Documents obtained via e-Devlet (e-Government) are considered valid. Applicants who have not yet graduated may upload their current transcripts in place of a diploma.

Foreign Language Proficiency

• For thesis master’s applications: Applicants who do not have a Foreign Language Exemption Certificate (YDS, YÖKDİL, ÜDS, KPDS, TOEFL IBT, etc.) must check the box "GTÜ İngilizce Yeterlik Sınavına Gireceğim" (I will sit the GTU English Proficiency Exam) in the application form.These applicants must also upload the bank receipt under the section "YDS veya YÖKDİL Sınav Belgesi" (YDS or YÖKDİL Exam Certificate). Prospective students who are applying to Master's Programs with Thesis and will take the English Proficiency Exam;

• For applicants with an exemption certificate:  

You must upload your language proficiency documents in both the "YDS veya YÖKDİL Sınav Belgesi" (YDS or YÖKDİL Exam Certificate) and "GTÜ Yabancı Dil Sınavı Banka Dekontu" (GTU English Proficiency Exam Bank Receipt) sections.
 

• Applicants who have sat the GTU English Proficiency Exam within the last two years and obtained the minimum required score must fill out the "GTÜ Dil Muafiyet Dilekçesi" (Letter of Request for GTU Foreign Language Exemption) and upload it in both the "YDS veya YÖKDİL Sınav Belgesi" (YDS or YÖKDİL Exam Certificate) and "GTÜ Yabancı Dil Sınavı Banka Dekontu" (GTU English Exam Bank Receipt) sections of the application form. (Please click here for the letter of request)

ALES / GRE / GMAT Information

• Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye: Please refer to the "GTÜ GRE/GMAT - ALES Eşdeğerlik Tablosu" (GTU GRE/GMAT - ALES Equivalency Table) (Please click here)
 

• International applicants: Please refer to the "Eşdeğerlik Tablosu" (Equivalency Table) (Please click here)
 

• Applicants submitting GRE/GMAT scores must manually enter their ALES-equivalent score in the "ALES Bilgileri" (ALES Information) section of the application form.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Identity Information: The serial number from your national ID card must be entered correctly.

           Examples:

           If Serial: R09, No: 632541, then R09632541

           If Serial: R09, No: 032541, then R0932541

• Invalid Documents: Do not upload expired, invalid, or incorrect documents.
 

• Required Documents: All required documents listed in the application form must be completely uploaded into their relevant sections.
 

• Bank Payments: Applicants who plan to sit the GTU English Proficiency Exam must pay the exam fee to the designated bank account and upload the receipt to the online system in the section "GTÜ Yabancı Dil Sınavı Banka Dekontu" (GTU English Exam Bank Receipt).
