We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Special Session on Artificial Intelligence in Finance, to be held at the 33rd IEEE Signal Processing and Communication Applications (SIU) Conference. This interdisciplinary session will provide a platform for researchers and experts from academia and industry to share recent developments and challenges in the financial world, as well as applications of artificial intelligence in this domain. SIU 2025 will take place from June 25-28, 2025, at the Şile campus of Işık University.
The papers submitted to the special session are expected to focus on, but are not limited to, the following topics:
• Stock and/or asset market prediction and anomaly detection, • Identification of individual or institutional investor risks, • Evaluation of credit risk of bank or financial institution clients, including predictions of credit repayment ability and management of doubtful trade receivables, as well as banking problems such as forecasting customer and product characteristics for marketing and sales teams of banks, insurance companies, and other financial intermediaries, • Textual and visual analysis of corporate reporting tools, such as financial statements, activity reports, integrated reports, and sustainability reports, • Detection and prevention of fraud in accounting and finance, • Development of automated and secure payment or transaction systems.
We welcome all researchers and industry experts who are interested in or conducting research in these areas to submit their papers to this special session.
