According to Article 34 of Law No. 2547 and Article 16 of the Higher Education Personnel Law No. 2914, pursuant to the "Procedures and Principles Regarding the Employment of Foreign Academic Staff" and our university's "Directive for the Employment of Foreign Contract Academic Staff," an instructor who is a native speaker of English to teach PREPARATORY CLASS STUDENTS at the Department of Foreign Languages is being sought.

Special Conditions for the Employment of Foreign Academic Staff
Employment in Foreign Language Preparatory Classes
The minimum requirements for the employment of foreign instructors in foreign language preparatory classes at higher education institutions are as follows:
1. For those whose native language is English among those to be employed for teaching English in preparatory classes, it is required to hold a bachelor's degree minimum in fields such as linguistics, language and literature, comparative literature, teaching, or educational sciences (pedagogy) or to hold a bachelor's degree minimum and meet at least one of the following conditions:
a) have two years of work experience minimum in teaching the relevant language at an internationally-recognized accredited language teaching center
b) hold a DELTA, CELTA, or TESOL certificate
In addition to the abovementioned requirements, the qualifications sought by our university are as follows:
- The candidate should be flexible, skilled, friendly, a good team player, and good at using educational technologies.
- Additionally, since our students study in an intensive English program with levels ranging from elementary to upper-intermediate, candidates are expected to contribute to the development of students' use of English language skills.
Our university is located in the Gebze district of Kocaeli province, which is very close to Istanbul, and commuting to and from the campus is easy. You can use the D-100 highway (E5) or MARMARAY.
