The "Personal Development and Career Day" event was held to contribute to the personal development of the students, to help them make the right plans in their careers and to help them reach their career goals.
Event organized by GTU IEEE Student Community Personal Development and Career Committee. Volkan Akay, Turkey's first and only expression trainer, was held at GTU Business School Conference Hall with the participation of Ideacoaching Founding Partner Devrim Aksu and Endless Abroad Overseas Education Company CEO Gökhan Özdemir. The first session of the event was held with the presentation of Mr. İfade(Emotional)-Volkan Akay titled "Bıktım Lan!". In his presentation Volkan Akay touched on topics such as motivation, giving up, struggling and gave students tips on how to stand firm against their failures in life. In his presentation,which name is "When it comes time to fly with your own wings ...", Aksu transfers his own experiences about Human Resources Work. Devrim Aksu emphasized the significance of the social square and its seminars throughout his presentation. Gökhan Özdemir's "Entrepreneurship and Abroad" presentation was also included in the event. Özdemir, who started to present with the story of going abroad, informed about foreign education programs and ended his presentation. In the event, 2 participating students were given 2 weeks of foreign language education.
