— Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar Is Reappointed as Rector of Gebze Technical University

Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar has been reappointed as Rector of Gebze Technical University (GTU). The appointment decision was published in the Official Gazette dated August 18, 2026, No. 33344, under Decision No. 2026/260, bearing the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In a statement regarding his reappointment, Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar expressed his gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; Prof. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK); and the members of the Council of Higher Education. Mantar stated that they would continue working in coordination with all academic and administrative staff to further advance the institution’s research culture, technological production capacity, and qualified human resources.
