July 24, 2026 - GTU Office of Press and Public Relations — GTU is guiding prospective students in making the right preferences that will shape their futures and helping them become closely acquainted with the university through its Introduction Days, which will continue until August 2.
Young People Who Will Shape Their Futures Gather on the GTU Campus Introduction Days, organized at Gebze Technical University (GTU) to guide prospective students in their university and career choices while introducing the university's academic departments, have begun. GTU Introduction Days will be open to prospective students every day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Congress and Cultural Center until August 2, except for Sunday, July 26.
As part of the event, academic and administrative staff, together with student societies, are meeting with prospective students at information stands to provide detailed information about GTU's strong academic structure, social opportunities, and campus life.
Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar Visits the Information Stands On the first day of the event, GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar and Vice-Rector Prof. Elif Damla Arısan visited the information stands and spoke with academic and administrative staff as well as students. Rector Mantar thanked those involved for their dedicated efforts and wished them continued success. In his remarks, Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar stated:
"As in previous years, we are organizing Introduction Days this year to support our young people. Here, prospective students have the opportunity to find out about the academic work carried out at GTU directly from our faculty members. At the undergraduate level, we offer education through five faculties and 22 departments, in addition to our vocational school and its associate degree program. It is gratifying to see that interest in GTU, a Research University equipped with laboratories offering some of the world's best research and learning opportunities across all these programs, continues to grow each year. To our young guests, who are the guarantee of our future, I first recommend that they pursue their dreams, set clear goals, and move toward those goals with determination. I warmly welcome all participants to GTU."
A Research-Oriented Vision and Dynamic Campus Life Throughout Introduction Days, prospective students will have the opportunity to receive answers to all of their questions while learning about GTU's research-oriented vision, student societies, and dynamic campus life enriched by projects. Participants are also introduced to the university's sustainability and social impact initiatives in detail.
Helping prospective students make informed decisions that will shape their futures, Introduction Days continue to serve as a strong meeting point where GTU shares its values and vision. |
