A new era of educational collaboration has begun with the signing of a protocol between Gebze Technical University (GTU) and the Gebze District Directorate of National Education.
Gebze Technical University (GTU) and the Gebze District Directorate of National Education have signed a comprehensive cooperation protocol to enrich educational opportunities in the region and strengthen institutional collaboration. The protocol was officially signed by GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar and Şenol Pekgöz, Gebze District Director of National Education. Under the protocol, the academic, professional, social, and cultural development of students enrolled in public and private schools affiliated with the Gebze District Directorate of National Education will be supported. Students and teachers will have access to GTU's academic infrastructure, including its laboratories, library, and research centers, as part of scientific and educational activities. To contribute to the professional development of school administrators and teachers, the university will organize academic training programs and seminars. In addition, GTU faculty members and student clubs will conduct mentoring, guidance, and club-based collaborative activities for middle and high school students.
Through this collaboration, GTU aims to transfer its scientific expertise and technological resources, developed as a research-focused specialized university, to local educational institutions, thereby contributing to the education of future scientists. |
