May 21, 2026 - GTU Office of Press and Public Relations — GTU volleyball teams have achieved top rankings at the Kocaeli ENFEST tournament. — GTU teams have returned to campus with second and fourth place finishes in the men’s category and a third place trophy in the women’s category.
GTU volleyball teams have completed the Kocaeli ENFEST tournament with notable achievements.
A volleyball tournament was organized as part of the 4th ENFEST Sports and Entertainment Festival held in Kocaeli. A total of 20 teams competed in the men’s category, including volleyball teams from. At the end of the tournament, GTU teams have achieved rankings in both the men’s and women’s categories.
Achievements of the Men’s Volleyball Teams GTU Men’s Volleyball Teams participated in the tournament with two separate squads. Following the matches, the first men’s team advanced to the final but finished the tournament in second place after losing the championship match. The second men’s team competing in the tournament completed the organization in fourth place after reaching the semifinal stage.
Result of the Women’s Volleyball Team Representing the university in the women’s category, the GTU Women’s Volleyball Team also completed the tournament schedule successfully. Following the matches, the team secured third place and earned the right to receive trophies and medals.
