Prof. Ferit Çakır, a faculty member of the Department of Civil Engineering at Gebze Technical University (GTU), has become a member of the Scientific Committee of the Cappadocia Area Presidency, which was established to ensure the protection and sustainable management of cultural heritage.

Prof. Ferit Çakır has been appointed to the Scientific Committee of the Cappadocia Area Presidency, which operates to preserve Cappadocia’s unique texture and pass it on to future generations. Affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Cappadocia Area Presidency manages the region’s historical and natural assets through a holistic approach.
