April 7, 2026 - GTU Office of Press and Public Relations GTU Continuing Education Center (GTU SEM) and the multinational strategic consultancy firm Pills sign a strategic cooperation protocol to organize internationally certified training programs aimed at supporting the transformation of industry.
A comprehensive cooperation protocol between the Gebze Technical University Continuing Education Application and Research Center (GTU SEM) and Pills Strategic Design & Consultancy, designed to address the dynamic needs of the industrial sector, was signed at the GTU Rectorate building. The signing ceremony was attended by Vice-Rector Prof. Mahmut Durmuş, responsible for GTU SEM, GTU SEM Deputy Director Tuğkan Arıcı (PhD), and representatives of Pills Strategic Design & Consultancy: Mehmet Çağrı Uğur, Harun Şengil, and Burcu Yücetin.
Bringing Together Sectoral Expertise and Academic Knowledge The signed protocol covers the implementation of qualified training programs aligned with the rapidly changing needs of industry and current transformation areas. The collaboration primarily aims to:

Under the protocol, GTU SEM’s academic depth and institutional training experience will be combined with the sector-oriented approach of Pills Strategic Design & Consultancy. This initiative, which will strengthen university–industry collaboration, is expected to accelerate sectoral development by improving employee competencies.
The certified training programs to be implemented will play a critical role in training professionals who meet the expectations of the industrial world. |
