Gebze Technical University (GTU) achieves remarkable success in the “World University Rankings 2026 by Subject” announced by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world’s most prestigious higher education ranking organizations.

2nd Place in Türkiye in Life Sciences

According to the published results, GTU ranks 2nd among universities in Türkiye in the field of Life Sciences, reaffirming its strong national performance. At the global level, the university has been placed in the 601–800 band in the same category, maintaining its competitive position worldwide.

Global Impact in Computer Science

In another area of strength, Computer Science, GTU has been ranked in the 801–1000 band globally. This result reflects the university’s technology- and research-oriented vision and its growing international visibility.
