New Term Begins at GTU-MAR

A new term officially begins at the Gebze Technical University Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Center (GTU-MAR) following a strategic evaluation meeting. Prof. Bünyemin Coşut, who has been reappointed as the Director of the Center, holds the first meeting of the new term together with the newly appointed Board Members and Deputy Directors, with the participation of GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar and Vice-Rector Prof. Elif Damla Arısan.

 

Strategic Roadmap Defined

During the meeting, the activities carried out by GTU-MAR in the previous term were reviewed in detail. As priorities for the new term were discussed, a consensus was reached on a strategic roadmap aimed at further strengthening research, development, and analytical activities. The Center’s mission to provide rapid and effective solutions to the R&D needs of university–industry and public stakeholders was emphasized, while the core principles of its quality policy, namely reliability, impartiality, and confidentiality, were reaffirmed.

 

“University–Industry Collaboration Is Our Priority”

In his remarks, Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar highlighted the importance of GTU-MAR’s advanced technological infrastructure. Sharing his views and recommendations on planned project partnerships for the new term and the more effective, industry-integrated use of the Center’s infrastructure, Prof. Mantar underlined GTU-MAR’s key role in strengthening the university’s scientific output.

 

The meeting concluded with the clarification of the working framework for the new administrative team, once again demonstrating GTU-MAR’s commitment to advancing its nationally and internationally standardized analysis and research services.
