January 9, 2026 - GTU Office of Press and Public Relations Students of Gebze Technical University visit Darıca Mustafa Kemal Primary School as part of a book donation campaign they initiate, coming together with young students through interactive English activities.
Gebze Technical University (GTU) continues to make a name for itself not only through its academic achievements but also through social responsibility projects that contribute to society. In line with this vision, a meaningful charity campaign has been implemented by students of the Department of Foreign Languages at GTU.
Book Support Provided for the School Library As a result of the campaign launched within the department, a large number of books were collected to enrich the library of Darıca Mustafa Kemal Primary School. A visit was paid to the school for the delivery of the collected books. Acting with a strong sense of social responsibility, GTU students contributed to improving access to knowledge for primary school students.
Interactive Activities for English Language Teaching The initiative was not limited to book donations; activities aimed at increasing interaction among students were also organized. Preparatory class students from the Department of Foreign Languages carried out colorful and interactive activities focused on English language teaching for primary school students. These activities, designed to increase young students’ interest in a foreign language, created moments that were both educational and enjoyable. |
