Gebze Technical University (GTU) signs a comprehensive “Social and Scientific Cooperation Protocol” with Eryetiş & Balkanlar Educational Institutions in order to strengthen the equality of opportunity in education and bring young talents together with science. The protocol aims to bring the academic world together with high schools providing education in thematic fields, particularly cybersecurity.
The signed protocol covers the students of Private Balkanlar College Anatolian High School and Private Nasibe Eryetiş Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School of Cybersecurity (SİBERYETİŞ). Through this cooperation, students will be able to: use GTU’s laboratories, measurement devices, workshops, and library for joint projects. take part in scientific research and patent processes by receiving mentoring and consultancy support from GTU faculty members. Stakeholder-Oriented Academic Development In line with its vision and mission, GTU considers producing social impact and establishing sustainable stakeholder ecosystems as a core priority. This protocol once again demonstrates the university’s capacity to transfer its academic expertise to the secondary education level and its ability to act as a stakeholder in training future scientists.
The protocol was signed at the Gebze Technical University Rectorate by GTU Vice-Rector Prof. Mahmut Durmuş, PhD, and Muharrem Vedat Eryetiş, PhD, Founder of Eryetiş & Balkanlar Educational Institutions, and entered into force. |
