December 12, 2025 - GTU Office of Press and Public Relations A comprehensive inspection is carried out by the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Committee in the dining halls operating within Gebze Technical University (GTU).
Under the leadership of GTU Vice-Rector Prof. Mahmut Durmuş, members of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, together with student representatives, have conducted a thorough review of the dining hall facilities serving both staff and students. The primary focus of the inspections was the occupational safety standards in the working areas of the dining hall staff, as well as food safety and general hygiene conditions that directly affect the quality of service.
The Committee meticulously examined all processes in the kitchen, preparation, and serving areas in terms of compliance with established national and international standards.
GTU continues to carry out regular inspection activities aimed at improving the overall quality of campus life. |
