Salesperson Training Protocol From GTU and A101

Gebze Technical University (GTU) enters into an important collaboration aimed at training qualified personnel for the retail sector.

 

Protocols have been signed between the GTU Continuing Education Application and Research Center (GTU-SEM) and Yeni Mağazacılık Inc. (A101) for the implementation of an İŞKUR-supported Sales Personnel Training Program. This collaboration aims to support the professional development of 300 trainees.

 

This comprehensive training program will consist of a total of 750 hours. The 30-hour theoretical part will be delivered by GTU-SEM in the university’s classrooms under the supervision of academic staff. The remaining 720 hours of applied training will be provided by the employer (A101).

 

Through this protocol, GTU aims to advance public–private sector collaborations and contribute to the development of the qualified workforce needed by the country, in line with its vision in the field of education and training.

 

The signing ceremony held at the GTU Rectorate was attended by GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar; GTU Vice-Rector Prof. Mahmut Durmuş; GTU-SEM Director Erşan Ciğerim (PhD); GTU-SEM Assistant Director Tuğkan Arıcı (PhD); Reyhan Eyüpoğlu, Branch Manager of the Gebze Service Center of the Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR); and Selami Uzayır, Administrative and Financial Affairs Officer at Yeni Mağazacılık A.Ş.
