The TÜBİTAK project led by Alp Kılıç (PhD), Research Assistant from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science at Gebze Technical University (GTU), is accepted and funded under the “2515–COST European Cooperation in Science and Technology” program, within the “Network for Indoor Air Cleaning (Net4CleanAir) – CA23139” action.

Within the scope of the project titled “Development of a Molecularly Imprinted Polymer (MIP)-Based Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Sensor Array for Monitoring Indoor Air Quality (MIPSAWSens)”, submitted under the "2515–COST European Cooperation in Science and Technology" program and the “Network for Indoor Air Cleaning (Net4CleanAir) – CA23139” action, various MIP-based SAW gas sensors capable of detecting volatile organic compound (VOC) pollutants with high sensitivity and selectivity will be produced for the first time, and a prototype sensor array will be proposed.

Faculty members from the Department of Physics, Assoc. Prof. Serkan Büyükköse and Prof. Leyla Çolakerol-Arslan, along with Prof. Sibel Emir-Diltemiz from Eskişehir Technical University, have contributed significantly to the development of the project proposal and will serve as researchers in the project.
