November 21, 2025 - GTU Office of Press and Public Relations GTU will provide academic support to enhance the foreign language proficiency of trainee officers and non-commissioned officers studying at Tuzla Infantry School Command.
A comprehensive cooperation protocol in education has been signed between Gebze Technical University (GTU) and Tuzla Infantry School Command. The signing ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the GTU Rectorate Meeting Hall. The protocol was signed by GTU Vice-Rector Prof. Mahmut Durmuş on behalf of GTU and Colonel Tevfik Abaşlıoğlu, Chief of Staff of the Infantry, on behalf of the Infantry School Command.
Foreign Language Support From Academic Staff Under the signed protocol, the aim is to improve the foreign language competencies of trainee officers and non-commissioned officers continuing their training at the Infantry School Command. To this end, GTU’s expert academic staff will organize specialized foreign language education programs tailored for the trainees.
Based on the principles of effective use of public resources and inter-institutional cooperation, this protocol represents an important part of GTU’s mission to share its expertise with various public institutions and contribute to society. |
