October 15, 2025 - GTU Office of Press and Public Relations Gebze Technical University (GTU) Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar attends the 5th Turkish-Arab University Presidents Forum in Tunisia.
The 5th Turkish-Arab University Presidents Forum was hosted by Tunis El Manar University and jointly organized by the Association of Arab Universities (AARU), the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS), and the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye (CoHE). The forum brought together more than 100 university rectors and numerous academics from Türkiye and the Arab world, including CoHE President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar. GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar took part in the forum and served as the moderator of one of the opening sessions titled “Internationalization, Reputation, and Global Engagement.”
Sharing his thoughts on this important international event, Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar highlighted the significance of collaboration between Turkish and Arab universities.
Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar stated: “It is an honor to take part in such a highly-attended forum aimed at strengthening relations among higher education institutions in our region, especially as a moderator in a session on ‘internationalization,’ which is one of the key priorities of our university. As Gebze Technical University, while striving to enhance our global visibility and reputation, we attach great value to sharing knowledge and experience with the long-established Arab universities. Such collaborations will not only elevate our academic standards but also pave the way for joint projects in the fields of science and technology. I sincerely hope that the outcomes of this forum will mark the beginning of a new and promising era for the universities of both regions.” |
