Res. Asst. İlhan Aytutuldu, PhD, from the Department of Computer Engineering at Gebze Technical University (GTU) achieves international recognition with his study presented at the MICCAI 2025 conference held in South Korea.
Aytutuldu presented his poster at the Efficient Medical AI Workshop during MICCAI 2025 in Daejeon, South Korea, one of the world’s most prestigious conferences in the fields of medicine and artificial intelligence, and was awarded the Best Poster Award for his work.
The award-winning study by Aytutuldu focuses on developing powerful and privacy-friendly AI solutions for speech therapy by integrating ultrasound imaging, mmWave radar, and audio data. The full paper will be published in the MICCAI Workshop Proceedings in the coming days.
Aytutuldu expressed his gratitude to his advisor, Prof. Yusuf Sinan Akgül, for his continuous support and guidance during the research process, and to Assoc.
