In the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list prepared by Stanford University, 14 scholars from Gebze Technical University (GTU) are included in the Single Recent Year Impact category, while 13 scientists are listed in the Career-Long Impact category.
Continuing its international achievements in science and research, Gebze Technical University (GTU) has attained yet another significant success on the global stage. GTU researchers have been recognized in the Stanford/Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists List 2025, compiled by faculty members of Stanford University and published by Elsevier.
In the list, 14 GTU scholars have been placed in the Single Recent Year Impact category and 13 GTU scholars in the Career-Long Impact category, proudly representing both Türkiye and GTU on an international scale.
The evaluation of scholars was based on criteria such as academic publications, number of qualified publications, citation counts, h-index, patents, and the impact factor of journals in which the articles were published.
